Paper Mache - Piggy bank in the making

Gemma has discovered money and is now collecting every "penny" - perfect way to teach her to save!  The money box she has is already full so we need a new one.

Perfect time for a craft!

So we started on Saturday morning with a balloon, our flour/water glue, news paper and one very excited little girl!

stay tuned for a weekly update - it takes long to dry now that winter has set in.

Cuddly Crochet by Stacey Trock

Have a look at this great book giveaway!

Review by Christine Doheny
This is a great book for a new or expectant mom. In this book you can find adorable toys, hats, blankets and more. The fun pictures and patterns will make you want to start crocheting them right away.

Included in the fun patterns are ten stuffed animals that you can pair with blankets, hats and bibs. These make for the perfect baby shower gift too. The matching patterns make for great combos. Each toy included in this book is just the right size for your little one to carry around. This book is great for any and all crochet levels. You can also find pages on useful yarns, resources, abbreviations and crochet information. This book, along with the patterns, is sure to put a smile on your face and make your baby look adorable.

Peg crafts

we normally have supper at my parents on a Thursday evening and its a perfect time for us to catch up on our crafting activities, Gemma and I made peg animals, the dog was supposed to be a leopard but didn't quite work out that way, what you think?

Gemma had so much fun, think I'll add this craft to my ever growing list of kits to make.
