hectic weekend

After a hectic weekend, Gemma decided to fall asleep @ 7pm on the carpet in the lounge, shame my poor baby!

Gemma's 3rd Birthday

My baby turned 3 on Sunday the 29th of November.  I can't believe how quickly the time has gone.  Mommy wanted to have a tea party but she didn't want to hear anything about that - Gemma wanted a Kitty party - so we compromised.  Hello Kitty was the perfect theme until I realised that it difficult to get anything Hello Kitty related here in South Africa.  So again I'd have to improvise. 

I've been doing a lot of research on the internet on the perfect Hello Kitty cake.  I finally figured out how to do it, I bought all the ingredients, I even got a easy cake receipt.  Then on the Friday evening before Gemma's party I decided it was time to be creative! and guess what!! My husband decided he wanted to decorate the cake and wow what a good job he did.  I was a bit upset because he stole my lime light, but he did such a good job and I was very very proud that my husband could be so creative.  Well done Grant - Gemma will remember it forever.
