Reward Charts

I received a phone call from Madam's teacher the other day regarding her "talking" in the classroom.  Her teachers suggestion was a reward chart.  I didn't realise how difficult it was to find a "ready" made chart so I decided to make my own.  I even bought some Tower stickers so we could record the good day.

Our first reward was a walk to the park so Madam could play on the swing, it was Fab!!

Here are a few more fun reward ideas;
1. Extra story at bed time
2. A small toy - bouncing ball, toy car (for boys), princess crown or wand (for girls)
3. Renting a movie
4. A special Milkshake or sweet treat
5. Making a cake or cookies
6. A "Late" night stay up

On Saturday the 12th of February we decided to visit the Meerendal farmers market, here are a few pics of Gemma riding a pony, what great fun, didn't expect her to enjoy it as much as she did.

The farmers food market that was introduced last year and proved to be very popular. It takes place on the second Saturday of each month and provides lots of things to buy and enjoy.

It runs from 09:00 till 14:00 and there is a wide selection of foods: fresh farm bread, pesto and olives, homemade pies, preserves, honey, waffles, biltong and droƫwors, rusks, cakes, fudge and garden plants. There are pony rides and a jumping castle to entertain the kids while you shop.
